Sinko de Mayo
« on: May 06, 2009, 11:34:05 AM »
OK ... I'm new to this fly tying thing but last night I was playing around and put together what I call the "Sinko de Mayo."  Gets the name from the date it was created  (yesterday) and the fact that it's a tungsten bead head so it will hopefully sink like all get out!

This was made with black thread, yellow ultra wire, a green turkey biot and peacock hurl.  Has never seen the water yet, but we'll see how effective it is this week end.

Thanks to everyone on TPO for all the great info on fly tying.

PS I still haven't figured out how to put a photo in a post .... any help?
... I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun.
